Different traditional systems of health have made statements about different types of terrain (e.g., mountains, near an ocean, in a valley, hot and dry deserts, etc. and their potential effects on health. I recall Ayurveda specifically commenting on this. There are also modern findings and studies about this. So this thread will be used to keep track of all of the different posts about geographic considerations that are posted in the particular forum for the corresponding system of health making the claim. And any modern research or finding can be posted in this thread.
