Histamine Intolerance

You might also heard histamine intolerance referred to as:

• histaminosis
• dietary sensitivity to histamine

Because histamine intolerance involves the mast cells, it can be confused with mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) but it is probably better thought of as a subset of MCAS. In the case of MCAS many mediators are secreted and not just histamine.

This thread will be used to discuss histamine intolerance.
