Samuel Thomson (1769 – 1843) was a gifted student of herbs who essentially derived, from his own experience and perceptions, the fundamentals of a herbal energetic approach to healing. Thomson's discoveries would become the foundation for the system of natural medicine that would become known as physiomedicalism.
